  1. PERSONAL DATA HELP FILE   --   Silicon Secretary V1.1 August 20, 1990

  3.    For a description of the menu options click on the SCREEN and press
  4. the HELP key or choose HELP from the menu.
  5.  
  6. The status of everything in this window is saved with the data file.
  7.  
  8. >>> The following string gadgets are available:
  9.  
  10. BOWLER
  11.    This is the same name that was already entered in the Team Editor.
  12.    If you change it here it will change in the Team Editor also.
  13.  
  14. OFFICE
  15.    If the current bowler holds a league office click this gadget until
  16.    the office appears.  The options currently available are:
  17.       PRESIDENT, VICE PRESIDENT, SECRETARY, TREASURER, SECRETARY/TREASURER
  18.       SGNT-AT-ARMS, CAPTAIN and the default, NO OFFICE.

  20.    NOTE: Currently there is no 'error' checking here.  Put another way,
  21.          you could make everyone in the league the president.
  22.  
  23. ADDRESS
  24.    There are two lines for the bowler's mailing address.
  25.  
  26. PHONE
  27.    Enter the bowler's phone number here.  The program will format it
  28.    for you in one of two forms, either '123-4567' or '(123) 456-7890'.
  29.    If the numbers that you entered are too short or long to fit in one
  30.    of these formats an error message will be displayed.  If you live
  31.    in some far-away land that uses a different format you're SOL.

  33. SS # (Social Security Number)
  34.    The ABC likes Social Security numbers on the End-of-the-Year report.
  35.    This is where you enter them.  When you hit RETURN the program will
  36.    format the numbers like this '123-45-6789'.  The number must be 9
  37.    digits long or an error message will be displayed.  The exception to
  38.    this is if you enter a hyphen anywhere in the numbers the program
  39.    will NOT attempt to reformat the numbers.  This is handy when working
  40.    with Canadian Social Security numbers that are formatted in groups
  41.    of three (000-000-000).  Pressing RETURN on this will cause the next
  42.    bowler to be displayed, providing there is one.
  43.  
  44. TEAM #  &  BOWLER #
  45.    To the right of the PHONE the program will display the current team
  46.    number and bowler number on that team.  These are not editable.
  47.  
  48. PRINT
  49.    Will dump the current bowler to the bowler's information to the printer
  50.    regardless of the menu settings.
  51.  
  52. FREE or SYNCH
  53.    if the TEAM EDITOR window is open and SYNCH is selected the bowlers
  54.    in both windows will move together.  If FREE is chosen they will
  55.    scroll independently of each other.

  57. ARROW UP & ARROW DOWN
  58.    Scrolls you backward or forward one bowler until you release the left
  59.    mouse button or get to the beginning or end of the bowlers.
